Quebec/Atlantic Chief -
Claude Arguin
Dear Sisters and Brothers
My union involvement began in 2012 as Unit Chair of the greater Quebec City region. This position enabled me to gain the necessary experience with my peers to take on the position of Chief Steward, which I have proudly held today since 2017. Throughout my union involvement, I've been able to forge solid ties with a single goal in mind: defending your rights and improving your working conditions. There's strength in numbers, and I can count on a solid team to support me in the performance of my role. With support Country Wide, you have not only a leader but an entire team at your service. I'm also striving to create a channel of communication between the various occupational health and safety committees in my two regions, so that information can circulate for the health and safety of all of you. One man's problem is another man's problem. Following the assured success of this initiative, I fully intend to extend it across the country. With over a decade's involvement in serving you, I believe I'm the best candidate for the job.
